Explain my brain
It can be hard to explain what helps you, especially on the spot. Build a friendly one-page guide to how you work best, then print it or save it to share with a teacher, manager, coach or family member.

Explain my brain
Make a friendly one-page guide to how you work best, to share with a teacher, professor, manager, coach, partner or family member. Pick what fits you, add your own words, then print it or save it as a PDF.
Your answers stay on your device. Nothing is sent or saved.

Coaching can help you put these supports in place at school or work, and practise asking for what you need.
Tips
Sharing your one-pager
- You choose what to share. You never have to explain a label or share private health details. Focus on what helps.
- Pick a calm moment. Hand it over at the start of a term, a new job or a new project, not in the middle of a stressful day.
- Make one for each person. What helps with a teacher might be different from what helps with a manager or a partner.
- Update it as you grow. Come back any time and make a new one.
Parents and teens can fill it in together, too. For more free tools, try the Dinky Focus Timer, the free daily planner or the ADHD self-check for adults.
